Jack, that's easy to answer... Because of all the complaints the police get for not looking for criminals breaking "real" laws. I also thought a law was a law, be it criminal, traffic, etc.

I also agree the more traffic law enforcement in needed. More fines bring more money to the city. Eventually, people might (maybe I should capitalize that) start obeying traffic laws then and the street were get safer.

Let's wait and see how he does.

He did a great job winning this election against Pres. Bush since most Dem adds mentioned both McCain and Bush with the focus on Bush's policies.

I hope he doesn't tried to force things through Congress. Yes the Dems have the majority in the House and the Senate. The problems is they are still the Democratic Party and could fragment like they did during Clinton's 2nd term.

I was listening to MadCow on the radio this morning. He played a clip from Obama to where he called for a national police force that was just as powerful as the military. Wow! If this really came from Obama, then it proofs he is not a socialist, he is a Nazi.

National police + military power = Gestapo

"A vote for Barack Obama will change the world because he is an intelligent, thoughtful man who will..." ...bring the US from the far, far right to the far, far left. For the six months that we are at the middle ground of this swing, which would be the 18-24 month from now, things will be good. Then things will get just as bad again.

That is just how the Dems work. They will be able to come together just long enough to take over and turn things their way. Then they will splinter, fragment, start in-fighting, etc.

Bob Barr would at least bring the Republicans and Democrats together in being against something.

Seems candidates are swaying people to much by what they are against and not going to do instead of what they stand for and want to do.

So vote Bob Barr and both parties will be against the President, every can have a Coke-a-cola and the world will be in harmony.

It is just a shame that you have to have insurance in order to afford health care.

Well the question should be "Did he intend to hit the person or was he just shooting out the window?"

If he meant to hit her - 1. It is assault. 2. Depending on the range, it was a lucky hit. The ballistics for those plastic BB's is horrible. My Airsoft gun has a hard time hitting a fence from more than 30 feet away.
